The FAR Dash Mount Panels are designed to simplify and improve the mounting of accessories, device mounts, power outlets etc in a way that can be adapted whenever the need arises.
The 3 versions available all use the same mounting bracket and the top plates are available separately if you want to change your setup without purchasing a full kit again.
All the mount panels are designed to be easily removed from the base bracket meaning that the panel's layout and wiring can be setup outside the vehicle which typically means installation is easier and neater than typical dash pods.
All parts are made from stainless steel, the base brackets are left unpainted and the top plates are finished in a satin powdercoat finish. All hardware is stainless steel.
AMPS Panel:
Version 1 is designed to work with AMPS compatible products. AMPS refers to a standard mounting pattern in either a 4 hole or 2 hole pattern, both versions are compatible with this panel and we sell a range of AMPS mounts in heavy duty plastic and metal to suit a range of needs.
Switch housings, power outlet housings etc are all available and if there is something we don't currently have.....we can design and fabricate custom elements for customers.
In the rear (or front if the panel is rotated 180 degrees) of the panel is a clearance slot to route cables through if required, for example CB mic wires, USB wires...etc.
RAM® Tough-Track™ Panel - Large:
Version 2 is designed to work with the RAM® Tough-Track™ A12 composite track, 2 of which can be fitted if required.
Various Tough-Track™ products are available from RAM® which can be moved, removed.....etc without the need for tools.
In the centre of the panel is a slot to route cables through if required, for example CB mic wires, USB wires...etc.
RAM® Tough-Track™ Panel - Medium:
Version 3 is designed to work with the RAM® Tough-Track™ A9 and A12 composite track, 1 of each can be fitted if required.
Various Tough-Track™ products are available from RAM® which can be moved, removed.....etc without the need for tools.
