The FAR Discovery 1 HD rear bumper was designed to address the poor standard rear bumper found on Land Rover Discovery 1 vehicles and the departure angle that it gave.
We decided to create a low profile bumper which was solid enough for hard off-roading or overland travel.
Features:
- Low profile design wraps closely to chassis and tucks in behind body quarters.
- 2 jacking points for standard land rover tall jack or hi-lift with adapter
- Centre bolts accept tow hitches, including 4 bolt nato hitches and recovery points.
- Compatible with standard drop tow bar.
Specification:
- 3mm, tig welded steel, zinc phosphate then satin black powdercoated.
- HD chassis brackets.
- Stainless hardware.
- Grip tape area on top face, better than slipping or ruining your paint. Grip tape is heavy duty but if it does wear out replacements are available.
