The FAR cubby box subwoofer riser enclosure is designed to suit our Focal active subwoofers and Rainbow Intelli Sub 8.
This takes the standard cubby box and raises it to a more comfortable position for your arm while driving, the front of the riser is the same profile as the front of the cubby box before it is lifted so there is no issue with either gear or transfer box shifter.
The cubby box is shunted backwards which again allows access to transfer box lever without any issues.....but also gives you a location for switches, sockets, gauges in a removable plate, which can be customized or we have some pre-configured plates to order which are shown below.
On the rear you have another removable panel which is the same size and format as the front plate.
If you want a custom plate from either the front, rear or both then simply select custom plate from the drop down list when ordering and we'll be in touch to discuss. We have some printable templates that we will send to you which can be scribbled on and sent back, we'll then draw these up and send you a drawing for approval before we proceed. Allow upto a week for custom plates although in most cases we can add them to an existing cut job and get them turned around quicker.
Supplied with all stainless fixings, a sheet of sound insulation for the base of the box and your choice of front and rear plates and an adjustable strap for securing your subwoofer.
Plate A - 1 Carling switch in an individual mount and 1 12v socket (or similar such as dual usb socket)
Plate B - 2 Carling switch in individual mounts and 2 12v sockets (or similar such as dual usb socket) - The right hand 12v socket location on this has been brought in towards the centre of the plate to make using the transfer box lever easy to use in TDCI (Puma) Defenders
Plate C - 3 Carling switch in individual mounts and 2 12v sockets (or similar such as dual usb socket) - The right hand 12v socket location on this has been brought in towards the centre of the plate to make using the transfer box lever easy to use in TDCI (Puma) Defenders
Plate D - 2 12v sockets (or similar such as dual usb socket) - This plate is popular as a rear plate in 110/130 vehicles with two row's of seats and also 90 station wagon's to provide power and/or USB charging to rear passengers
Plate E - 2 Carling switch in individual mounts and 2 12v sockets (or similar such as dual usb socket) - This plate is popular as a rear plate in 110/130 vehicles with two row's of seats and also 90 station wagon's to provide switches, power and/or USB charging to rear passengers.
