Our go-to speaker for upgrading or adding speakers in the standard Defender factory locations. These will fit the rear speaker pods either side of the rear door or under the dashboard in Pre-Puma Defenders or Puma Defenders if you aren't fussed about having tweeters in the top of the dashboard.
APX 4 features a concentric coaxial tweeter: with one single point of sound emission it is possible to obtain a consistent in-phase response, with consequent reconstruction of the acoustic scene comparable to a system of separate woofer + tweeter.
The 4″ cones surround features the exclusive shallow “Triple Wave” profile, for maximum excursion linearity.
These DO NOT come with grilles, you can reuse your existing Land Rover grilles (they are held to factory speakers with double sided foam tape and can be easily seperated......or the Audison APG4 grille is available to purchase here
